This is a famous line because its always followed by a very cool fight scene of Yankumi and the gangsters per episode. They (I'm not sure why) always asks her who she is and her answers varies but it always contains the phrase homeroom teacher and precious students.
Then you'll see her throwing away her phoney and dorky eyeglasses, followed by letting loose her hair and then from the very plain teacher she becomes a very beautiful fighter.
