Its nothing much.. just the regular spazzing
We CHaGeun ChaGeun our Way to SS3
(CEBU E.L.Fs Way for Love)
You can’t blame me. It’s the first and only concert I've ever attended in my whole life. It’s also like a dream come true for all the Cebuana E.L.Fs and I to see our most loved boys out from the regular Youtube screen, out from our wallpapers, out from our imaginations and into the flesh! Gosh! And by flesh I really mean flesh (particularly pertaining to Siwon and Eunhyuk hehe). So, armed with our concert weapons a.k.a. light sticks, banners, blue headbands and blue everything, plus wearing our very own custom-made ‘No Other than Super Junior’ shirts, we lined up on the various gates of Araneta Coliseum.
Before everything else, it really helped us when Ms. Happee Sy and PULP organized a simultaneous Countdown Party in Cebu, Iloilo and Davao. Aside from the fact that we were able to meet our cute Kyu-fanatic Ate Luanne, we were also able to gather and plan out our SS3 escapade. Coincidentally, February 26 is the birthday of my friend Emmy Rea, so she was more than ecstatic to attend the concert. The next thing we knew we have Upper Box A tickets, a 5am flight scheduled on February 25 and a dorm type room booked for us.
Even the first day was already fun-filled as we flew 355 miles early in the morning aboard the airplane. I was with my sister Weng, my friends, Peanut, Neenja, Ssandz, Chrisma, the Cui sisters, Tiffany and Erika and the mastermind Emmy. Kabayan Hotel became our official residence in Manila for their dorm type rooms while Mcdo became our “suking tindahan” for they have 50Php budget meals, all because we wanted to spend so much on the Super Junior Merchandise Sale that’s happening on that same day.
While other ELFs were warmly greeting Super Junior in NAIA, we were in the “SUJU Fiesta” taking pictures with SuJu standees, shopping for light sticks, bag tags, pins and whatever we can afford. All the while I was wondering how a pillow with Leeteuk’s face can be so exponentially more huggable than a regular one, as well as asking myself why a T-Shirt with SJ is on it can be so fashionable. I was spazzing over little things such as a Kyochon Calendar, a Kyuhyun fan, a Heechul poster, a Sungmin pin, a Ryeowook bag tag, a Yesung picture, and every little thing with their faces on it. Well you get the point! It was the best shopping I’ve had.
Concert Day! My Moment!
This was the time where I was thinking of nothing but Super Junior, heard nothing but scream and booming sounds, seen nothing but a mass of blue lights amidst the huge dark dome and most importantly stared at nothing but faces of the men that I love!
I was seated in the front row on one of the Upper A center sections and Oh boy it was a great seat. Not that the seat was of any use because I was just standing the entire time. I was jumping one moment, dancing in another, waving my hands in the next, singing suddenly and literally I was everywhere. I totally, totally enjoyed everything; I didn’t bring a camera that time so my whole attention was on the show but I had no regrets whatsoever. By the way did I mention that I was on the railings shouting the whole time? Seems like my whole body wanted to shout and be beside Super Junior. It’s funny and heartwarming because my seatmates totally understand and even wanted to jump with me to the front just to catch the boys. ^^ I just meet them for like 5 minutes but I got to shake their shoulders a thousand times, every time their biases comes out, and I already got to squeeze their arms also a thousand times every time I can’t take the spazzes. WHOAH! It was so exhilarating!
In this next paragraph, I was about to type “The best part for me is…” but I find that I can’t choose any. I feel like every part is the best part. Although, I just want to say the pyrotechnics, the flying Super Junior and the Veggie Super Junior were so AWESOME! 정말 대단해요!
When I came out of the Coliseum, we felt that the three hours were not enough. I met up with everyone and relived the concert outside a Coffee shop nearby. No one even noticed that were squatting on the side walk with fan girl screams and giggles. It was so fun to hear the super messed up biased list of my friends. Issandra, who is a Donghae addict, worshipped Kyu after the concert while Chrisma, a Kyu fanatic couldn’t care less as she was still floating that time... My “Gengster” sister, Wenela became a spazzing Donghae fan and the birthday girl Emmy remained a Heechul fan with a strong Eunhyuk fascination. Others added a second, third and fourth biases on their list while I, on the other hand, an ELF with no biases, became confused even more. Yesung by the way became everyone's favorite after he let all of us sang a whole chorus of his solo performance.
Whew! I came to Manila filled with love for Super Junior and I came back to Cebu loving them even more. I didn’t think it was possible to have more love to share and more love to feel. Every second of that day was so worth it.
I mean, what is a 355 mile travel if got to be 3 meters close to them? What is a little overnight stay on an unfamiliar city if I got to hear the everlasting leader Leeteuk say “Are you happy? Everybody SUCREAM!! I’m Happy too”? A little bit of losing my sanity is not much if the price is Heechul standing with glorious white skin in front of me with a smirk only Hee can do.
I’d gladly watch a Moon Geun Yong drama again if it means I got to sing along with Yesung and see the Mega touched expression on his face. It’s good that I had saved a hundred laughs and a thousand snorts to enjoy Shindong’s funny antics whiles it’s good that I had saved up enough fluids to see (and shed a tear or two) that touching performance of Kangin with the members.
A fifty peso budget for every meal was forgotten when I saw Sungmin flew directly in front of me with a smile and kinky eyes spreading confetti and what is a little day to day savings when Eunhyuk’s body waves and hip hop dances is all so worth every penny.
What’s a little time spent for shopping for light sticks if Donghae was waiting to see the blue sea of ELF with a sweet smile saying “Good Job!”? What’s a little late night video and music downloads to memorize fan chants if it is to sing along with Ryeowook’s magnificent voice and be dumbstruck with his eternal young look?
What is a little stretch of the neck and body exercises if it is to see wherever Siwon stands and be awed with his good looks and charm? What is a little time spent searching for flights and hotel bookings if it means Kyuhyun can serenade you live with his gentle voice and striking smile?
Lastly, I’d scream on top of my lungs again and again if I got to hear Henry say “Of all the countries we’ve been to, Philippines has been the LAUdest!!” and hearing all of them say “I love you!!”
What is a little hoarse voice I had to endure for a week if got to respond and say the words “I love you too!!!?”
Here are some pictures we want to share ^_^

This one is our breakfast at the Kabayan Hotel on February 26, 2011. See our faces? We just woke and immediately thought of breakfast ^^

Can’t help but pose outside our temporary crib for this escapade. It such a fun room: D
Standing with the Heechul standees makes me feel like a Hella Super Space Big Star myself ^^
Wearing our custom made No Other shirts, which only Cebuana ELFs have, we lined up outside the green gate and thus, becoming the “green gaters”. (L-R half hidden Mel, Wenela, Emmy, Tiffany, Issandra, Erika, Peanut)

These are the pretty “Red Gaters”, who also traveled from Cebu to Manila to watch the concert of our beloved boys

Other Red gaters, fortunate enough to be interviewed by Myx VJ Janin

So we were not just armed with light sticks, on our hands are dry brush masterpieces of a very talented Cebu ELF Naome. I’m crossing my fingers that our oppas got it

This is me and Dianne from Valenzuela along with self proclaimed Donghae’s brother Tim (taking the picture) who became my automatic close friends just because they were my seatmates during the concert. It’s the nature of ELFs, we are bound by One Love <3

The concert is about to start! Yippee!

Picture taking after the concert! The camera can’t take our spazzes!
